Department of Defense

After multiple unsuccessful attempts at implementing contracted security services for a remote and unsupported United States Forward Operating Base in Afghanistan, the Department of Defense consulted Tundra to provide an innovative mobilization plan and to implement that plan within 30 days.

In less than 30 days after contract award, Tundra used a combination of both civilian and military air assets to move 50 armed personnel and the logistical support required to sustain it for 12 months through some of the most dangerous, Taliban controlled areas of South East Afghanistan.

The successful implementation of this project led to a Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, which led to Tundra becoming one of the most prominent suppliers of security services to the US Government in Southern Afghanistan.
